Eulogy for those without health insurance

Health and Race: A Conversation in Hartford, CT shows a discussion among people of faith on how health inequalities are affecting their city and state . . . and what to do about them. Held on May 25, 2010 and co-sponsored by the Greater Hartford Interfaith Coalition for Equity and Justice, the Christian Activities Council and Hartford Seminary, it marked the culmination of two years of consciousness-raising about health and race among member congregations, and the launching of a period of action. Out of this conversation, the work to develop an action plan to address and remedy health inequalities in Hartford and Connecticut moved forward and, as this piece invites you in its conclusion, “Come join us in this important work!”
